About the School

We offer a full academic program that includes special-area classes such as art, physical education, music, library, Spanish, and STEM lab.

Beyond the core academic subjects, Southern is committed to providing a rich arts education program. We are proud to offer our students the opportunity to use the MIE keyboard lab. We also have a fifth-grade performing troupe called Stix that wows audiences with drumming expertise. In addition, our third, fourth- and fifth-graders can perform with the "Sounds" group, which combines movement and music.

Southern provides a variety of after-school program that provide enrichment, including the Student Technology Leadership Program, Girls on the Run, academic team, art club, and more.
